Great British Carrots

Grown with TLC

Traditionally carrots have been grown in the East of the country on the Norfolk Sands and the Fens region and up on the Lancaster peats. Over the years this has altered with Nottinghamshire and Scotland becoming important production areas too.

Meet The Producers

This site is run by the British Carrot Growers’ Association, which is made up of most of the carrot producers in the UK. The Association is funded voluntarily by its members and has the primary aim of increasing UK consumption of carrots. The Association also aims to manage the sustainability of the industry and help responsible growers to operate. We ensure that members are kept informed of market trends, and can advise members on a number of issues from legal and technical through to current industry advances and best practice.
